American Airlines really means business (class)

One of the biggest stories in the airline industry has been American Airlines and its break with a core customer group. The company lost business from a lot of business-class travelers and wants them back.

Olive branches are springing up left and right as American tries to straighten out its road warriors after its trade chief exits. His attempts to bring some of those reservations in-house met with a frosty reception that may still take a while to thaw.

Trump’s Elon Musk-y government? Good for Elon Musk

One of Donald Trump’s campaign promises has been to create a Department of Government Efficiency, headed by Elon Musk and charged with cleaning up the civil service. Musk says it would also streamline regulations in ways that would benefit Musk.

Specifically, Musk would seek to make it easier to approve a national rollout of autonomous vehicles. Coincidentally, Musk’s electric car maker Tesla has just revealed plans to launch a new autonomous vehicle.
