Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche directed the Justice Department to stop targeting crypto mixers by April 2025, signaling a shift in how the DOJ approaches digital asset enforcement. Paul Grewal has served as Coinbase’s Chief Legal Officer since 2020, previously served as a US federal judge for the Northern District of California and as a deputy director at Facebook, and has been engaged in discussions with regulators around legal frameworks for the digital asset industry.
