Leigh Wood took a wide unanimous decision win over Josh Warrington in front of his hometown fans at the Nottingham Arena.
The former world champions played a rematch after previous matches in 2023.
Wood secured a comeback knockout victory in their first match and repeated the victory over his rival when they clashed on Saturday.
The Nottingham fighter didn’t score another stoppage but dominated the proceedings and won a wide unanimous decision.
Wood won 117-111, 119-110 and 119-109. “I worked hard for this and my team worked hard,” Wood said.
“I’m not going to make a decision tonight, but if it’s the last one, what a fight to go to.”

After beating Ishmael Davis on the Nottingham undercard, Fawaz has become the British and Commonwealth super-welterweight champion.
He took a majority decision over Davis after 12 rounds, level 114-114 on one card, but won 115-114 and 115-113 for the other two judges.
After losing consecutive WC matches to Mikaela Mayer during 2024 and 2025, Sandy Ryan has become champion again at a new weight when she beat Karla Ramos Zamora by majority decision.
Ryan was drawn into a match against Zamora and they were tied 95-95 with one of the judges after the 10 round. But Ryan won 97-93, allowing the other two officials to claim the WBC super lightweight title.
Popular Doncaster heavyweight David Allen bounced back from his defeat to Arslanbek Makhmudov. He dropped Karim Berredjem twice to force a first-round stoppage.
