Los Angeles Chargers and Carolina Panthers won in the final seconds, Baltimore Ravens so their season slip further away, and Daniel Jones led Indianapolis Colts to another win on NFL Sunday …
Seattle Seahawks 20-12 Jacksonville Jaguars
Sam Darnold threw touchdown passes to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp as Seattle dominated both lines on the way to a 20-12 victory in Jacksonville.
Smith-Njigba ended with eight receptions in 162 yards when the Seahawks (4-2) rebounded from a last second loss to Tampa Bay at home.
Jaguars (4-2) meanwhile looked like a team that spent the week rejoicing in a win on Monday night against three-time AFC champion Kansas City. Jacksonville’s first three snaps set the tone: a sack, a holding punishment and a loss of three yard.
Trevor Lawrence was fired six times more. Travis Etienne was held at 27 meters on 12 bears. And Jaguars had a 54-yard touchdown pass from Lawrence to Brian Thomas Jr. Nullified because rookie travis hunter lined offside.
San Francisco 49ers 19-30 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Baker Mayfield threw two touchdown passes and had a spectacular scramble to help Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat San Francisco 49ers 30-19.
Up 20-19 early in the fourth, Buccaneers faced a third-and-14 on their 41.
A couple of plays later, Mayfield connected to Tez Johnson on a 45-yard touchdown pass down into the middle to give the 49s a 27-19 lead.
The 49s ran after a potential bond score when Mac Jones threw an interception to Jamel Dean on the fourth and five from Buccaneers 33 with just under six minutes left, creating Chase McLaughlin’s 45-Yard field goal that extended the lead to 30-19.
Jones threw in 347 yards with two elections and lost for the first time in four begins to fill for Brock Purdy. Mayfield was ending 17 of 23 in 256 yards and his two scores to cameron Johnson and Tez Johnson.
Los Angeles Chargers 29-27 Miami Dolphins
Justin Herbert left Dolphins’ Pass Rush and connected with Ladd McConkey to a 42-yard catch-and-run in the last minute, with Cameron Dickers fifth field goals for the game as Los Angeles Chargers stood to beat Miami 29-27.
The dolphins overcame a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter and took the lead when Tua Tagovailoa threw a one-yard touchdown pass to Darren Waller with 46 seconds left.
Nyheim Hines set up chargers on Miamis 35 with a 40-yard return of the subsequent kickoff. On the second-and-10, Herbert stepped into his pocket, got free from the grip of Jaelan Phillips and threw a short pass to McConkey, who broke a tackle and ran out of the borders of Miami 17. Dicker’s 33-Yard Spark won it for Los Angeles (4-2), which broke a two-game Skid.
Herbert finished 29 out of 38 passes in 264 yards and two touchdowns. Kimani Vidal, who got the majority of carrier to Los Angeles’ knocked back field, ended with 18 rush in 124 yards and had a 7-yard touchdown catch. McConkey had seven catches in 100 yards and a td.
Tagovailoa, which ended with 205 meters passing, threw his third interception of the day on Miami’s last possession, and the dolphins (1-5) were booed from the field at Hard Rock Stadium.
Los Angeles Rams 17-3 Baltimore Ravens
Los Angeles Rams finished the first half with a target line rack, and then Matthew Stafford led them to a few touchdowns to begin the third quarter in a 17-3 win over Baltimore Ravens.
Rams (4-2) wasn’t the best, but they didn’t have to be against a spiraling Baltimore team that was without injured quarterback Lamar Jackson in another straight weekend. Ravens (1-5) managed a field goal on their first drive and nothing more.
Kyren Williams put Los Angeles ahead with a three-yard scoring race in the third. After Baltimores Zay Flowers fumbled, Rams quickly made it 17-3 on an eight-yard touchdown pass from Stafford to Tyler Higbee.
With Jackson sidelined by a hamstring injury, Cooper Rush 11 went in 19 in 72 yards with an eavesdropping and a lost fumble before being pulled in favor of Tyler Huntley in the fourth.
Dallas Cowboys 27-30 Carolina Panthers
Rico Dowdle went over 200 meters from Scrimmage in the second week-Walk against his former team and rookie Ryan Fitzgerald kicked a 33-yard field goals as time expired when Carolina Panthers defeated Dallas Cowboys 30-27 in a wild back and forth game.
Bryce Young finished 17 of 25 passes in 199 meters and threw two of his three touchdown passes to Rookie Tetairoa McMillan to help Panthers (3-3) improve to 3-0 at home.
Dowdle ran in 183 yards on 30 bears and caught four passports in 56 yards and a touchdown for Panthers who beat Cowboys for the first time in three years at home. Dowdle spent five years with cowboys before signing with Carolina as an unlimited free agent. He has 473 yards from scrimmage over the past two weeks, a franchise post.
McMillan had not caught a touchdown pass in the NFL before Sunday after caught 26 over his three seasons at the University of Arizona, but broke through with touchdown catches of 19 and two yards.
Dak Prescott ended 25 of 34 for 261 yards and three touchdowns for cowboys (2-3-1). Dallas wasted a career-best game from George Pickens that caught nine passports in 168 yards and a touchdown.
Cincinnati Bengals 18-27 Green Bay Packers
Josh Jacobs rushed for two touchdowns and Green Bay Packers held Cincinnati to a 27-18 win in Joe Flaccos Bengals debut.
Jacobs had a three-yard touchdown race in the second quarter and opened the fourth by scoring on a 14-yard burst up in the middle. Jordan Love went 19 out of 26 in 259 yards with an eavesdropping and a 19-yard touchdown pass to Tucker Kraft.
Lucas Havrisik sealed the victory by making the second of his two field goals, a 39-yard with 1:52 back. Havrisik also kicked a 43-yarder one day after signing with Packers because the usual Kicker Brandon McManus had hurt his quadriceps.
Cincinnati’s last hope disappeared when Evan McPherson was wide right at a 56-yard attempt with 41 seconds left. McPherson also made a 45-yard field dimensions and was brief on what would have been an NFL record 67-yards to finish the first half-after having made the first kick only to see it tied back by a Packers hourlyout.
Flacco arrived via a trade from Cleveland Browns on Tuesday and ended 29 of 45 in 219 yards and two touchdowns.
Arizona Cardinals 27-31 Indianapolis Colts
Daniel Jones threw two touchdown passes, and Jonathan Taylor drove a farm to the leading score with 4:32 back to give the Indianapolis Colts a 31-27 win over Arizona Cardinals.
Jones finished 22 of 30 in 212 yards with an eavesdropping as well as running for a score. Taylor had 21 bears in 123 yards, and the rookie tight end Tyler Warren caught six passports in 63 yards and a touchdown.
Indy (5-1) remained perfect at home by winning his sixth just over the past two seasons at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Arizona (2-4) lost its fourth straight and blew a lead in the fourth quarter of the second week in a row. Jacoby Brissett replaced the wounded Kyler Murray against one of his former teams. He was 27 of 44 in 320 yards and two touchdowns with an eavesdropping. McBride had a season high eight receptions of 72 yards and a score.
New England Patriots 25-19 New Orleans Saints
Drake Maye passed three touchdowns at 25 or more meters, including two to Kayshon Boute, when New England Patriots exceeded New Orleans Saints 25-19.
Maye finished 18 of 26 passes in 261 yards without a turnover and were also connected to Demario Douglas to a 53-yard score when the Patriots (4-2) won in a third week.
Boute, a Louisiana -Inborn who played College -Related at LSU, caught five passports in 93 yards.
The saints (1-5) drove after a possible score in the fourth quarter as the tight end Juwan Johnson was ruled after video review of fumbling what was originally a first-down-jerk across midfield.
Spencer Rattler completed 20 of 26 passes in 227 yards without a turnover, but the saints struggled to get into the final zone. Taysom Hill had New Orleans’ lonely touchdown on a one-yard race, and Blake Grupe kicked four field goals.
Cleveland Browns 9-23 Pittsburgh Steelers
Aaron Rodgers passed 235 yards and two touchdowns, and Pittsburgh Steelers had some problems with Cleveland Browns in a 23-9 win.
Steelers (4-1) strengthened their early grip on AFC North by continuing their home treatment of Browns (1-5). Cleveland’s loss of regular season, losing a line at Acrisure Stadium, hit 22 games after another lifeless performance of its violation.
Brown’s Rookie Dillon Gabriel sent 221 yards, but couldn’t lead the league’s second lowest scoring overgrowth to the final zone as Cleveland did not fail to break the 17-point barrier for the 11th consecutive game.
Pittsburgh did not exactly tear through the NFL’s second ranked defense. Still, Rodger’s chains kept moving by spreading its 21 finishes among eight players. He threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Connor Heyward and found early in the fourth quarter DK Metcalf on a beautiful lob to the right corner of the end zone for a 25-yard score that put the game out of reach.
Tennessee Titans 10-20 Las Vegas Raiders
Geno Smith went in 174 yards and a touchdown, and Devin White led a suffocating Raiders defense when Las Vegas defeated Tennessee Titans 20-10.
Raiders (2-4) ended a four-match sliding, and the titans (1-5) missed an opportunity to win consecutive matches for the first time since November 2022, a 47 game.
None of the fighting teams did much on violation and combined in 451 yards.
Las Vegas won relatively easily despite pedestrian numbers from Smith and Ashton Jeanty, who rushed into 75 yards and a touchdown on a 3.3-yard per day. Play average.
Titans Rookie Quarterback Cam Ward, the top overall election in the NFL draft, was 26 of 38 in 222 yards. He connected with David Martin-Robinson to the second year’s tight end career touchdown.
