Can Ange make the forest more dynamic?

Latest from Sky Sports News’ Anton Toloui:

“Obviously, Evangelos Marinakis wants Nottingham Forest 3.0 in the Premier League.

“Steve Cooper got them up, Nuno took them to Europe, and now Ange Postecoglou is responsible for making this team more dynamic and successful.

“Forest has spent great on attackers in the summer, it is now up to the former Tottenham manager to unlock their potential.

“35 million pounds were spent on Omari Hutchinson, a similar fee also sprayed out at Dan Ndoye and Dylane Bakwe, plus James McATEE came in for up to £ 30m, £ 25m went to Rennes for Arnaud Kalimuendo and Igor Jesus was not cheap from botofogo.

“They have also provided major contracts for Callum Hudson-Odoi and Morgan Gibbs White.

“Forest can easily name three different front-three that are able to compete in Premier and Europe, it’s down to Postecoglou to loosen them.

“Forest missed the Champions League with just one point despite having only the ball to 40 percent on average in matches last season. To put it in context, only Everton and Ipswich had on average less possession.

Ange's Spurs -Statistics

“It will be a complete marine change in the way we have to see Forest play because Postecoglou would not really change the way he created for someone at Tottenham.

“Even when the results did not go, he was dogmatic with his system; he wanted it to continue, even though the fans would apparently see a more pragmatic approach.

“Postecoglou has to solve the puzzle, which is how to make the most of all the attacking talent at Forest.

“Also ignores the lazy story of club owner Marinakis, who wants Postecoglou because he was born in Athens.

“To paraphrasing the words of the forest hero Brian Clough, Marinaki’s ‘wants to win but wants to win it better’. He thinks he has found that the man did just that.”
