Since launching in 2016, Google’s Accelerator program has provided more than 1,700 startups, developers and social impact organizations around the world with expert mentorship, technical guidance and access to a global alumni network. From deploying smart sensors that reduce energy waste by over 40% in Southeast Asia to building mobile health platforms that reach millions of underserved users in Africa, Google Accelerator portfolio companies are turning ambitious ideas into lasting impact.
Today, we’re sharing our 2025 Accelerator Impact Report, which highlights the program’s ongoing impact. As an example, startups founded by Google Accelerator alumni across 87 countries have collectively raised $31.2 billion – creating over 109,000 jobs along the way.

- Latin America: With 9 unicorn alumni and 44,6000 jobs created, alumni startups drive progress in mobility, clean energy and inclusive economy
- India: Over 257 alumni employ 25,900 people transforming fintech, agritech and healthcare while improving access to essential services
- Middle East and Africa: 219 alumni have raised $2.3 billion to tackle priorities such as education, food security and renewable energy
- USA and Canada: 377 alumni have raised $1.8 billion and employ 8,200 people leveraging Google’s AI and technology to drive innovation and scale globally
- Asia: 318 alumni have raised $12.4 billion, driving innovation in the world’s fastest growing markets
- Europe and Israel: 219 alumni employ 9,200 people and have raised $7.2 billion to shape the future of healthcare, sustainability and productivity
