Wolverhampton hosts live racing on Tuesday

We have a busy day of racing on Monday with action from Ffos Las, Plumpton and Wolverhampton live on Sky Sports Racing…

7.30 Wolverhampton – Beauzon seeks eight hours

Beauzon returns to his beloved Wolverhampton looking for an incredible eight-hour and looking for his 13th success in his 40th start at the track!

The first win of the sequence came at Lingfield in January on a mark of 50 and he now comes here in March on a mark of 70. Ian Williams has done a remarkable job of keeping his prolific gelding on song and another bold, front-running bid could be on the cards.

The rest of the field arrive here to rediscover their form with only Ruth Carr trained Digital a previous winner in his last three races, however, March, Mumayaz, Twilight Madness and Water Of Leith everyone has a course success to their name.

2.05 Chantilly Prix Ronde de Nuit – Afjan and Baker Blue competition features

Afjan and Baker blue competition today’s feature Listed Prix Ronde de Nuit at Chantilly.

Afjan won twice last year, notably landing the Group Three Prix d’Arenberg at ParisLongchamp in August. He then made a big jump in class and ran against his elders in the Group One Prix de l’Abbaye on Arc Day, running a creditable eighth. If he has wintered well, he should be there.

In contrast to Afjan, Baker blue comes here with a very different profile. He ran 11 times as a youngster with the first six runs in Ireland before switching to Dylan Cunha’s yard from John Harrington without a win. He has since won twice in five starts, steadily climbing through the ranks, but this test poses a new question for him.

The unexposed Bird call comes here from Ollie Sangster’s farm and is an exciting runner as he is two from two having won two novice races at Nottingham and Southwell.

4.30 Ffos Las – El Gavilan and Jukebox Fury lock horns

El Gavilan and Jukebox Fury are two horses that are in great form and will lock horns in our penultimate race, the Blackmore’s Handicap Hurdle from Ffos Las.

Starting with El Gavilanhe comes here to chase a four-hour after an 18-pound increase in the weights since his first victory in the sequence at the track back in January. He most recently brought up the hat-trick with a neck success here last month and climbs another five pounds in the weights but is hard to beat.

Jukebox Fury returns to action after almost a year out, chasing a hat-trick for Nicky Henderson with James Bowen on the plate hoping to maintain the winning streak. He is up nine pounds for the latest of his wins and could go well if he is able to time the sideline.

Sean Bowen and Olly Murphy combine with Up to the Trix which continues to improve looking for a first success.

Best of the rest

2.45 Plumpton – Kool Kid bid to defy a five-pound rise.

4.45 Plumpton – Taritino and Eliza Dolitte clash.

8.30 Wolverhampton – Crimson Ramblers chasing a hat trick.
